LEAD GUITAR - DAVE VANELL

You will rub your eyes in disbelief when Dave hits the stage! He looks just like Brian May! Plus he has all of the authentic guitars and gear to sound just like any Queen song. He has a long career playing with top acts in Florida and opening for national acts on big stages all over.

BASS - TIM CROWE

Tim, who portrays John Deacon in Absolute Queen, has been playing in various bands in many cities for 30 years.  He has been better known as portraying Cliff Williams of AC/DC in the very popular AC/DC tribute band, "Highway to Hell" -- yes it's a wig!!  He took his inspiration for playing the bass after hearing Geddy Lee from Rush when he was a teenager.  His first band, which he describes as "simply atrocious" was called "Les Vincent and the Tree Toads." He also has great memories playing with "Furious George" in Washington, DC for 4 years and in "Shore Thing" in south Jersey in 2007.  His amplifier and cabinets are all Ampeg, and he uses two American-made Fender guitars for Absolute Queen - a Jazz '75 reissue, and a '61-reissue Precision.  On a personal note, he grew up in Chicago, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and received his Master's degree from American University in Washington, DC, the city where he spent many years early in his career. He also lived outside of Philadelphia before moving to Tampa in December 2007.

KEYBOARDS - G.T. BALDWIN

G. T. Baldwin (piano) is a huge fan of Queen's music. He had seen Queen perform four times as a teenager, and performed with Queen influenced bands in the 70s .He recently joined Absolute Queen on piano and rhythm guitar. He has a Masters Degree in Education from UCF, and a Bachelors Degree in Music and Engineering Techology from the University of Miami where he played bass with many bands and on cruise ships in South Florida in the 1980s.He currently performs worldwide with a Led Zeppelin tribute on bass and keys, and has performed various instruments with Classic Albums Live.
